Little small place, it has cool location just next door to the center, the hillside above Koblenz on the other side of the Rhine, and the cable car. The staff is great and the food is gorgeous!

Good bed in triple room with a work desk, television, and a seating area. Surprisingly quiet location on a hill of Koblenz, easy to get anywhere. Based short walk to the hillside above Koblenz on the other side of the Rhine, even Cologne, and the city center of Koblenz.

This place is a hidden gem! The family-run hotel and restaurant offer delicious home-made dishes and regional wines. The surroundings are perfect for golfing and hiking. Plus, the free private parking is a bonus.
Oh, the joy of having limited dining options and having to drive or take public transport to find something suitable for my special dietary needs. Such a delightful inconvenience.

We stayed at a lovely family-run hotel situated on a hillside above a beautiful drive. the owner, Christian, spoke excellent English and was incredibly friendly and helpful. the hotel had a charming outside patio where we enjoyed tasty beer, and the restaurant served exceptional steaks. the breakfast buffet was equally impressive. the rooms were spacious, fully furnished, and the private bathroom was clean. it was an ideal first stopover on our journey to Italy from Calais. Cons: Can honestly say there wasn't anything not to like. 😊.

The room we stayed in at Berghof By 42 was comfortable and clean. The bathroom was well-maintained and had all the necessary amenities. We were also provided with a fan, which came in handy during the hot weather. The location of the hotel was very cool, and the drive to get there was beautiful. We found a super restaurant nearby, which was a great bonus.
The entrance, reception, and some of the rooms had an unpleasant smell, especially the room we were assigned to. It was located in a kind of underground level, making it feel damp and musty.

We had such a great time exploring the Rheinsteig hiking path and the Bienhorntal Valley nature reserve. The hotel made it super easy for us to have an adventurous vacation. Plus, the fact that they allowed children under 6 years old made it a chill and relaxed atmosphere for us young party-going people.
If there was one thing I could ask for, it would be more vibrant nightlife options near the hotel. We had a blast during the day, but it would have been even more awesome if there were some cool bars or clubs nearby where we could have continued the fun into the night.

For the price, our stay at Berghof By 42 was excellent value. The room was small but cozy, with a tidy private bathroom. The hotel's location up on the hillside offered a surprisingly quiet atmosphere, yet it was just a short drive down to the city. The staff, especially Christian the owner, were incredibly hospitable and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyable.
Food for breakfast could have been better, but overall a minor concern compared to the wonderful experience we had at Berghof By 42.
